Duval-Leroy Precieuses Parcelles Bouzy 2005

Short Description

This champagne is made from Pinot Noir exclusively, harvested in Bouzy, classified Grand Cru located on the Montagne de Reims. It is a mono-varietal and mono-cru champagne from which only 3,258 bottles were produced.

The whole was vinified in oak barrels.

The dress is glittery gold

On the nose: aromas of brioche, biscuit and candied fruit

On the palate: lots of red fruits with hints of Burlat cherry or cherry from the Basque country, Gariguette strawberries and crushed raspberries.

To be served between 8 and 10 ° C.

Food / wine pairing: veal chop in semi-salted butter or even better with duck foie gras.

It was in 1859 that Maison Duval-Leroy was created by the association of Armand Leroy and Jules Duval.

Today the house cultivates 200 hectares planted mainly with Chardonnay grapes on plots classified Grand Cru or Premier Cru at the top of the Crus scale created in 1911.

This Maison based in Vertus en Champagne is currently run by the 6th generation.

The House now produces many qualities, each more remarkable than the next.
