Glutenhaltiges Getreide und daraus gewonnene ErzeugnisseA bread that tastes great with everything! Aurora Bauernkruste is made from the finest wheat and rye, which makes it hearty in flavor. The strong crust makes it very crispy. Ideal also for bread makers. Just add 12.1fl.oz (340ml) cold water and set the settings on your bread maker to: bread normal and dark crust. Enjoy your fresh bread with German butter. Mix 12.1fl.oz lukewarm water with one package of Aurora Bauernkruste in a big bowl. Set the Mixer on highest speed and knead the dough for approx. 5 minutes, until the dough is smooth. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rest in a warm place for approx. 30 minutes until the volume has increased. Knead the dough one more time a form the shape of a loaf. Roll the loaf in flour and place it in a loaf pan or on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cover the loaf again and let it rest in a warm place for another 40 minutes. Brush the top of the loaf with water and bake it on the bottom tray of the preheated oven for 10 minutes on 450 F and then for another 40 minutes on 400F. Let the loaf cool and enjoy!
