Martini Bianco
Short Description
What goes in a martini drink? Gin and... Martini Bianco! Vermouth with gin is as a Martini one of the most iconic and famous cocktails ever. And the perfect mixing partner for this is a brand that also happens to be called Martini! Or is it no coincidence at all and the cocktail name is derived from the name of the traditional company?
We do not know. But we do know that Martini Bianco tastes great both in martini and pure, as well as in other long drinks and cocktails. The aromas of sweet Trebbiano wine, vanilla and regional (Italian) herbs mix with a touch of apricot.
Long Description
Since Martini & Rossi traditionally does not use any alcohol other than that produced in the winemaking process, Martini Bianco achieves only 14.4 % vol. - exactly 0.1 % vol. below the alcohol content required to be officially sold as vermouth in the EU. Nevertheless, Martini Bianco is used as vermouth in many cocktail recipes - especially mixed with gin in the classic Martini cocktail.
Enjoy Martini Bianco pure or try it mixed with tonic water as a long drink: Martini Bianco Tonic. Numerous recipes also prove its suitability for cooking and baking. This versatile drink should not be missing in your household.
