Martini Bianco
Short Description
The Martini Bianco has a sweetish-bitter taste and is often drunk chilled or on ice. But it is also suitable as a basis for long drinks.
Long Description
The first vermouth of the Martini brand was created in 1863, when three employees of a wine trading company - Martini, Sola and Rossi - took it over and started producing flavoured wine. After Sola's death in 1879, the company, now part of the Bacardi Group, was given the name "Martini & Rossi". In 1900 Rossi's four sons took over the company and changed the marketing strategy. Soon Martini & Rossi was known as a major sponsor of various cultural and sporting events.
Martini Bianco is a white wine, which was enriched with various ingredients and then distilled four times. The exact recipe and the production process are a well-kept secret.
