Short Description
Southern Style Hash BrownsPotatoes. Contains 2% or Less of Dextrose, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate Added to Maintain Natural Color.Keep frozen. Panfry with Oil (A nonstick spray may be used in place of oil. ) (Recommended Method): 1. Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in skillet to medium heat (350 degrees F). 2. Carefully add a single layer of potatoes. 3. Cover with a lid and fry for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once for uniform cooking. 4. Season to taste and serve immediately. 5. A nonstick spray may be used in place of oil. 6. If nonstick spray is used it is recommended to use non-hydrogenated liquid cooking oil. Panfry with Water: 1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat (350 degrees F). 2. Carefully add a single layer of potatoes to skillet with 3 tablespoons of water. 3. Cover with a lid and fry 10 to 12 minutes, turning once for uniform cooking. 4. Season to taste and serve immediately. Note: Cook to light golden color. Cooking times vary depending on appliance power. Watch carefully during the final minutes of preparation. When cooking smaller amounts reduce cooking time. Do not overcook.
