Softshell crabs burger is a new way to eat seafood. It is a low carb and healthy recipe.
Ingredients
- Shellfish required
- 12 scallops in shell
- 4 lobster tails (butterflied)
- 6 soft shell crabs
Ingredients for butter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 red chili (chopped)
- 2 tsp garlic (chopped)
- 2 tsp fresh coriander (chopped)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Ingredients for coleslaw
- 1/2 cup of red and regular cabbage and carrot (shredded)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Additional ingredients
- 6 dinner rolls
- Tempura flour or rice flour
- Fresh coriander
- Lemon slice
Method
- Mix all butter ingredients well and keep aside.
- Mix all coleslaw ingredients well and keep aside.
- Heat oil.
- Coat each crab well in tempura flour and deep fry until they become crispy.
- Half dinner roll and toast put slaw then crab and garnish with coriander.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Place 1/4 tsp of the butter mixture on each scallop and place it in the oven for 5-7 mins.
- Smear a generous amount of butter on the meat of the lobster tail and place the lobster tail on a hot grill side down.
- Cook until the meat has nice char, then turn and let it cook completely.
