Concord Foods Apple CrispSugar, Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour), Rolled Oats, Spice, Caramel Color, Natural Butter Flavor (from Milk).You will need: Suggested cooking apples: Braeburn, Cortland, Empire, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Idared, Jonagold, Jonathan or Rome. 6-8 medium to large cooking apples (about 2 1/2lbs. ) 5 tablespoons margarine or butter. Directions: 1. Prepare. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine contents of package with softened margarine or butter in a large bowl. Mix with a fork until thoroughly blended. Set aside. 2. Peel. Core and slice apples. 3. Place. Sliced apples in an ungreased 8 square pan and sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over apples. 4. Bake recipe at 375 degrees F for 20-30 minutes until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm. Serving suggestions. Serve warm apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. To make other fruit crisps - in place of apples, use blueberries (4 cups) or peaches (8 medium, peeled and sliced) or blueberries and cranberries (2 cups of each). French apple pie - fill an unbaked 9 pie shell with sliced apples. Prepare crumb topping as directed on package back. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.
