Concord Foods Greens & Kale Seasoning Mix Southern-styleDextrose, Salt, Brown Sugar, Natural Smoked Torula Yeast Flavor (Barley), Worcestershire Sauce Powder (Corn Syrup Solids, Salt, Caramel Color, Garlic, Sugar, Spices, Soy Sauce Solids [Naturally Fermented Wheat and Soybean, Salt, Maltodextrin, Caramel Color], Palm Oil, Tamarind, Natural Flavor), Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Natural Flavor, Caramel Color, Spice, Disodium Inosinate and Disodium Guanylate, Lactic Acid, Sunflower Oil.You will need: 2 pounds of collard greens or kale (de-stemmed and stripped) . Smoked meat, optional (1 ham hock, turkey wing or 1/4 cup diced bacon). Makes 10 servings. Easy to make: 1. In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water and smoked meat (optional) to a boil. Add diced greens and greens & kale seasoning mix. Stir and allow greens to wilt. 2. Cover pot. Simmer greens on low heat, stirring occasionally for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Add water as needed. Recipe suggestion: Roasted Brussels sprouts: pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F. Trim and half lengthwise 1 1/2 pounds of Brussels sprouts. Toss Brussels sprouts with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of greens & kale seasoning mix and toss to coat evenly. Pour the mixture on a sheet pan and roast for 18 to 20 minutes or until tender. Shake the pan every 5 minutes to brown the sprouts evenly. Concord Foods Southern - Style Greens & Kale Seasoning Mix.
