Fleischmann's Yeast Yeast, Instant DryYeast, Sorbitan Monostearate, Ascorbic Acid.For Household Use: 2-1/4 tsp. Instant Dry Yeast = 1 envelope highly active dry yeast. Add Instant Dry Yeast directly to the dry ingredients (no need to rehydrate in water) . Use very warm liquids (120-130F). In recipes calling for 2 rises, replace the first rise with a 10 minute rest after kneading, then shape dough and proceed as recipe directs., Commercial Use: Mix yeast with flour for 30 seconds then proceed with normal mixing. Avoid direct contact with ice or cold water. When converting from fresh yeast, add additional water equal to 2 times amount of instant yeast used. 1 oz. fresh yeast equals 1/3 oz. instant dry yeast. 4 oz. fresh yeast equals 1-1/3 oz. instant dry yeast. 8 oz. fresh yeast equals 2-2/3 oz. instant dry yeast. 1 lb. fresh yeast equals 5-1/3 oz. instant dry yeast. 3 lb. fresh yeast equals 1 lb. instant dry yeast., No refrigeration required prior to opening. Store in a cool, dry area. After Opening: Store in tightly covered container (glass is recommended) in refrigerator. Use within 6 months.Long Description
