Chardonnay

Short Description

Cotes Des Roses Chardonnay Igp The C├┤te des Roses Blanc by G├®rard Bertrand from Languedoc offers a bright, golden yellow colour in the curved glass. This varietal French wine flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of apple, pink grapefruit, violet and lemon. In addition, there are hints of other fruits. This white from G├®rard Bertrand is ideal for all connoisseurs who like as little residual sugar as possible in the wine. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, but round and supple. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. The finale of this maturable white wine from the wine-growing region of Languedoc finally inspires with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by slate and limestone. Vinification of the C├┤te des Roses Blanc by G├®rard Bertrand The balanced C├┤te des Roses Blanc from Languedoc is based on grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. In Languedoc, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and slate. Due to the moderating influence of the nearby river tyre, the grapes are slower and more aromatic. After the hand-picking, the grapes immediately reach the press house. Here you are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation is then carried out in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the C├┤te des Roses Blanc can continue to harmonise on the fine yeast for a few months. Food recommendation for the C├┤te des Roses Blanc by G├®rard Bertrand This Frenchman should best be enjoyed chilled at 8 - 10┬░C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine with chickpeas curry, leek soup or fried trout with ginger peas. More products from Gerard Bertrand
