Stir 1/2 cup of Flahavan's Irish Oatmeal into 1 1/4, cups of cold water or milk. Bring to the boil and cook briskly for 3 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for 1 minute before serving. Cooking time can vary depending on the texture required. Cooking time will be reduced if the oatmeal is soaked overnight.In the microwave: You can prepare Flahavan's Irish Oatmeal quickly and easily in a bowl using a 900 watt microwave oven. We recommend that you use a deep bowl and allow over an inch at the top for the oats to cook. Stir 1/2 a cup of Flahavan's Irish Oatmeal into 1 cup of cold water or milk in a deep microwaveable bowl. Do not cover. Microwave on a high setting for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the microwave and allow to cool for 1 minute in the bowl before serving. Cooking times may vary according to microwave wattage.
