I drink a lot of ginger beer: Sainsbury's and two others that are much more expensive (much more expensive than the Old Jamaica the other reviewers prefer) . Compared with my other ginger beers, Sainsbury's does not have the same degree of subtle flavouring of the one, nor the intense fire of the other - which is why I sometimes drink those others. But Sainsbury's is good, decidedly gingery, and amazing for the price. And the new recipe is much better than the old, which I did not like. Please please please please Sainsbury's change it back to the old fiery gingery taste. Not sure who the tasters are. Having read the review I only ordered one bottle to try for myself and played it safe making up the rest of the order with the more expensive Old Jamaica sugar free. All credit to Sainsburys they are one of the few supermarkets who stock the sugar free variety of Old Jamaica. Hopefully they will change the recipe back with the feed back they are getting. I avoid Aspartame and find it very hard to source low cal products without it. The 'new improved' 'fiery' stuff has quite a pleasant fruity taste I cant quite identify, but is in no way fiery, or even tastes of ginger.
