Domaine des Perdrix Echezeaux du Dessus Grand Cru 2016
Short Description
The name Echezeaux comes from the old French "Es Chazeaux": the houses, which means that this site was inhabited during the Gallo-Roman era.
The color is ruby red with purple reflections.
The nose is expressive, rich, flattering with pretty fruity notes (raspberry, wild strawberry) on spicy notes (pepper, clove) with a hint of mint.
On the palate, the tannins are smooth and silky in balance with a nice freshness on the finish.
To taste at an ideal temperature of 13-14 ° C with a semi-cooked duck foie gras, game cooked in sauce, as well as fresh and strong cheeses such as Brillat-Savarin.
