Paul Bara Brut Reserve Champagne Grand Cru

Short Description

It is a white champagne coming exclusively from the Grand Cru Classé of Bouzy, one of the 17 villages thus classified at the top of the qualitative hierarchy of champagnes.

It is a blend of Bouzy wines made from Pinot Noir grape vines for 80% and 20% Chardonnay grape variety.

After the manual harvest, the cuvée is aged in French oak barrels for a few months, then bottled to be taken down to a deep cellar for optimal aging.

The dress is shiny gold.

On the nose and on the palate: wide palette on small red fruits such as wild strawberries or blueberries or Burlat cherries, followed by touches of citrus fruits from lychee to candied mirabelle plum ending slightly on Italian bergamot woody and vanilla.

Food and wine pairing: oysters from Marennes-Oléron, prawns or lobster flambéed with Dubosquet XO cognac, sea bass à la plancha, white meats with truffled morel sauce.

Perfect on a citrus fruit tart with lemon or Crete apricots or a Norwegian vanilla and dark chocolate omelet.

Champagne par excellence from cellar, sheltered from light and vibrations, bottle lying down with an optimal humidity of 70%.

Periodic tastings to measure the qualitative evolution of this exceptional champagne.
