Delamotte Collection 2004 Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Short Description
The color is shiny, straw yellow with small green reflections.
After a first nose on the apple then come fragrances of white flowers such as hawthorn and acacia, then sketches of roasted perfumes.
On the palate: peach, stewed yellow fruits with a good length in the mouth.
This Champagne House was created in 1760 in Reims thanks to François Delamotte, the founder, and it was his son Alexandre who bought some time later a house and cellars in Mesnil-sur-Oger, where Delamotte is still settled.
The brand and buildings were then bought in 1927 by Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, and his son Charles managed it from 1948 to 1988.
Then the House was bought in 1988 by Laurent-Perrier and was managed by Bernard de Nonancourt until 2010, date when Alexandra and Stephanie de Nonancourt carried on the family tradition to write this House’s future.
