Billecart-Salmon Vintage 2009 Champagne

Short Description

The Vintages follow one another, always signed by the Cellar Master, tireless composer of each symphony that is each Champagne from Maison Billecart-Salmon

This champagne, always vintage, but only the great years, is the fruit of a blend of majority Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for the remainder slightly variable according to the years, all coming from terroirs classified Grand Cru exclusively.

The color is intense gold.

On the nose: always tangy notes like that of apple accompanied by touches of citrus fruits and toasted brioche.

The palate is round with a silky texture accompanied by violet, mirabelle plum and a touch of white pepper. The finish is delicately anise and offers a high qualitative potential of the rare Champagne vintages.

To be served chilled but not cold at around 12 ° C as an aperitif or as a starter with noble fish or shellfish or even top-of-the-range hams such as serano or a pata negra from Spain.

This House, created in 1818 by Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, still is today one of the lasts Champagne Houses that is family owned and independent, managed by François Roland-Billecart, head of the 6th generation.

Founded in 1818 by Nicolas-François Billecart and Elizabeth Salmon.

An independent house for almost 200 years, managed today by the sixth generation, whose unchanging oath is: Favour quality, aim for excellence.
