Stove Top:- Heat water* and salt (optional) to a rapid boil. - Slowly stir in Maypo Quick Oats. - Return to a boil. Reduce heat and cook at a gentle boil for 1 minute or until desired consistency, stirring constantly. - Remove from heat and cover until ready to serve. Cereal will thicken as it stands. Microwave (For 1 serving):- Combine 1 cup water*, pinch of salt (optional) and 1/2 cup Maypo Quick Oats in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. - Microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes or to desired consistency. Times given are approximate. - Stir before serving. Use care when removing bowl from oven. It may be hot. * For thicker cereal add less water. For thinner cereal add more water.
