Green Peas - PetiteGreen Peas, SaltCooking: Stove Top: Place the desired amount of frozen vegetables in a small amount (1/2 to 1 cup) of boiling salted water. Bring the water to a second boil. Cover the pan and reduce heat. Cook gently for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender. Avoid overcooking. Microwave Oven: Place frozen vegetables in a microwave-safe casserole dish with a tight-fitting cover. Add two tablespoons of water and cook on high for three minutes. Stir the vegetables and cook on high for an additional 4 to 5 minutes. Allow the casserole dish to stand for 2 minutes before opening. Note: Microwave cooking times vary among individual ovens - avoid overcooking. Keep frozen. If thawed, do not refreeze.Long Description
