Enriched Long Grain RiceEnriched Long Grain Rice [rice, Niacin (niacinamide), iron (ferric Orthophosphate), Thiamin (thiamin Mono-nitrate), Folic Acid]Range Top: 1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a 2-quart heavy saucepan (Add, 1 Tbsp. margarine and 1 tsp. salt per 1 cup uncooked rice, if desired) . 2. Stir in 1 cup Harris Teeter Long Grain White Rice. 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or after cooking. Microwave: 1. In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish, combine 2 cups water and 1 cup Harris Teeter Long Grain White Rice (Add 1 Tbsp. margarine and 1 tsp. salt per 1 cup uncooked rice, if desired). 2. Cover. Microwave on High for 5 minutes. 3. Reduce setting to 50% power; microwave for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. For drier rice use 1-3/4 cups water. For moister rice, use 2-1/4 cups water. If your microwave does not have variable power settings, follow manufacturer's directions. Makes 4 servings, 3/4 cup each.Long Description
