Brown 1 pound of lean ground beef in 10 inch skillet and drain. 2. Add 3 cups hot water, and the sauce mix. 3. Heat to boiling; stir in uncooked pasta. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender. Remove from heat and uncover. (Sauce will thicken as it stands) . Stir 1/4 cup milk and topping mix in small bowl for 30 seconds. Pour topping mixture over beef mixture before serving (If topping mixture is too thick stir in an addition 1-2 teaspoons of milk). Microwave: 1. Crumble 1 pound lean ground beef into 3 quart microwaveable casserole. Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 5 minutes, breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain. 2. Stir in sauce mix, 3-1/2 cups boiling water and uncooked pasta. 3. Microwave uncovered on High 8 to 12 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes, until pasta is tender. (Sauce will thicken as it stands). Dish will be hot. Stir 1/4 cup milk and topping mix in small bowl for 30 seconds. Pour topping mixture over beef mixture before serving. If topping mixture is too thick stir in an additional 1-2 teaspoons of milk. High Altitude Microwave (3500 to 6500 feet): Increase boiling water to 3-1/3 cups and last microwave time to 9-13 minutes.
