Frescobaldi Castelgiocondo Brunello Di Montalcino 2005
Short Description
Frescobaldi red Wine Brunello Di Montalcino Docg Castelgiocondo - 2016 750ml The Red Wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Castelgiocondo by Frescobaldi is born in the vineyards of the Castelgiocondo estate, in Montalcino in Tuscany. The great variety of exposures and soils (marl, clay and Pliocene sands) give this Brunello infinite nuances. Aroma: opens with hints of wild berries, among which the blackberry stands out, enriched by floral notes of violet, which then leave room for spicy nuances of black pepper and cardamom, balsamic juniper, coffee and toasted hazelnut. Taste: it has a dense and elegant tannic texture and a full body. The finish is very long and warm, with a spicy component that stands out on the intense fruity notes. Awards and Honors: James Suckling: 95 points Wine Advocate: 93 Points Falstaff: 95 points Vinous: 93 points Luca Gardini: 97+ Points Uses: roast meats, cold cuts and salami, aged cheeses, grilled lamb, pasta with meat sauce, Florentine steak.Long Description
