It consists of the marriage of about 40 different eaux-de-vie, matured for up to 8 years and selected for their freshness. Long Description

The house of Hennessy, the world leader in the cognac category, was founded in 1765. For more than two centuries, it has consistently adhered to the values that Richard Hennessy passed on to his family and that have been cultivated by over seven generations of cellar masters.

The cellars of the house contain the largest and oldest reserves of Eaux-de-vie in the world. These are the only means of creating the exceptional top-quality cognacs that Hennessy stands for. Some compositions are made from Eaux-de-vie that are over 200 years old!
