Hendrick's Gin
Short Description
A traditional gin and gold medal winner at the World Spirits Competition 2000, it has had a pharmacy bottle look since the 18th century.
Long Description
Since 1887, Hendricks Gin has been produced by the family business William Grant & Sons in Scotland. In addition to the usual ingredients such as juniper berries, coriander, iris root and lemon peel, rose petals and cucumber are also used. However, the aromas are carefully distilled by steam and not boiled out as is usually the case. Only the best neutral alcohol from cereals is used as a basis for the pot and carter head stills, which guarantee a particularly high copper contact and a soft taste of the gin. Almost all steps of the production are still carried out today according to the old, traditional method, with great attention to detail, in small 450-litre batches and by hand. The slightly pink-coloured gin is bottled in brown bottles in pharmacist style.
