Short Description
Black Bush Irish Whisky 700Ml Matured in Sherry Casks - The Paez family owns a bodega in Jerez in Southern Spain. They handcraft the casks from European Oak to Bushmills specifications and season the Butts with Oloroso Sherry for up to 3 years. In the 3rd year the casks are shipped to Bushmills. Masculine and boldest of the group Blend of a uniquely high proportion of 80% malt whiskey with 20% of a sweet, batch-distilled grain whiskey. Tasting Notes Nose: Big, full, rich fruitcake aroma. Intense sherry sweetness, developing into dried fruit/rains/Christmas cake notes. Palate: Soft, silky texture with a nutty character. Finish: A lingering sweetness. Remarkable balance between the power from Sherry-seasoned casks and the smoothness of the spirit.Long Description
