Her fox terrier Pimperl played an important role in the life of the Mozarts and was mentioned in many letters. The Complete Works of Mozart Mozart died on 5 December 1791 at the age of only 35. His oeuvre encompasses the entire breadth of artistic expression of his time. He composed for Emperor Joseph II, for the nobility, the church, the theatre and the concert hall.
