From Organic Farming, Contains naturally occurring sulphites.Due to their pleasantly flavourful taste, dried shiitake mushrooms are a great ingredient in savoury foods and add the much-coveted umami flavour. These Japanese delicacies go particularly well with rice & vegetable dishes, soups and sauces. The gentle drying process ensures that the wonderful aromas of the organic cultivated mushrooms are retained. Preparation: Rinse the shiitake mushrooms in a sieve, submerge them completely in water and soak for an hour. Drain the mushrooms (please discard the soaking water) and cook for about three minutes before adding to your food.
