RUF Alsace Onion Cake eliminates the need to chop up onions, as the package contains an onion mixture of 500 g - just add milk, water and cooking oil and bake. RUF Elsässer Zwiebelkuchen nimmt Ihnen das Zwiebelschneiden ab, denn die Packung enthält eine Zwiebelmischung aus 500 g Zwiebeln. Dann nur noch Milch, Wasser und Speiseöl zugeben und backen. Base mix: wheat flour, starch, sugar, baking powder (Säuerungmittel glucono-delta lactone and potassium tartrate, sodium bicarbonate leavening agent and calcium carbonate), salt, inactive yeast. Onion mixture: Onions (62%), modified starch, vegetable fat, cheese powder, lactose, salt, seasoning, flavoring, thickener guar gum. May contain traces of nuts, egg, celery and soya! Knead the dough in a separate bowl with 3.5fl oz of water and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Mix everything for approx. 2 minutes until the dough becomes smooth. Let the dough rest for approx. 5 minutes on a flour dusted surface. Roll the dough out and place it in a spring form pan (26cm diameter) so that the dough forms a 1 high rim. Pour the filling into the form and distribute evenly. Bake the onion cake in the middle of a preheated oven (440F) for approx. 30 minutes. Guten Appetit!
