Add mix. Beat with a wire whisk, rotary beater, or electric mixer at lowest speed until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. , Shaker method: pour milk into a leakproof 1-quart container. Add mix. Cover tightly; shake vigorously ata least 45 seconds. Pour at once into dishes, pudding will be soft set and ready to eat in 5 minutes. , For pie: prepare as for pudding, using only 1-3/4 cups, milk and beating only 1 minutes. Mixture will be thin. Pour at once into cooled, baked 8-inch pie shell. Chill at least 1 hour.
