Helter Skelter Merlot, Lodi Winery The wine comes from a 50 year old Lodi vineyard in central California. Grapes are harvested towards the end of September, at optimal ripeness, then brought to the winery in the early hours of the morning, when it; s cool. Grapes are gently pressed to guard against green extractions and the wine is fermented, partially in old barrels to add structure and vanilla nuances.Long Description
