Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Uncover and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until potatoes are tender and sauce is as thick as you'd like. (Sauce will thicken as it stands).
