Gaec De Lozari Miel De Maquis Printemps 250G This is a sweet and intense honey with a complex aroma. Collected from March through May from the Balagne region of Corsica, this honey is made from the nectar of asphodel, clover, heather, thistle, and broom flower. It is a deeply golden, with a delicate caramel or cocoa flavor and an aroma of licorice or coconut. This honey has a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for sourcing native Corsican species. Maquis honey is a signature Corsican varietal, referring to Mediterranean coastal shrubland.
