Idahoan Original Mashed PotatoesIdaho Potatoes with Emulsifier (Mono and Diglycerides) and Preservative (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bisulfite, Citric Acid, Mixed Tocopherols).Stove top directions: 1. Combine 1 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 1/2 tablespoons butter*. For best results, do not add milk until step 3. 2. Heat to a boil, remove from heat. 3. Add 1/2 cup cold milk; stir in potatoes gently and let stand until moist. Whip lightly with fork and serve. Microwave directions: All microwaves vary and heating times may have to be adjusted. 1. Combine 1 cup cold water, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 1/2 tablespoons butter* in microwave-safe serving bowl. 2. Heat to a boil in microwave on high setting, approximately 2 minutes. 3. Remove from microwave. Caution: serving bowl and liquid will be hot. 4. Add 1/2 cup cold milk; stir in potatoes gently and let stand until moist.
