Calhoun Bend Dessert Mix Beignet and Sopapilla 8 OzUnbleached Wheat Flour, Cane Sugar, Yeast, Salt, Nonfat Milk Powder, Whey Powder, Leavening (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Natural Butter Vanilla Flavor.Directions: 1. Combine mix, boiling water and 1 Tablespoon (15mL) cooking oil; stir vigorously until mix forms a dough. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. 2. KNEAD dough (using hands) on a floured surface 2 - 3 minutes, until dough becomes elastic; add flour as needed to form a soft, smooth dough that is no longer sticky. Form dough into a ball, coat with oil or cooking spray and place into a clean bowl. 3. Cover bowl with a hot damp cloth, let rise for 30 minutes. 4. ROLL /PAT dough on a lightly floured surface; 1/8 - 1/4 inch (3 - 6 mm) thick. Cut into 2 in (5cm) squares / triangles with a knife, pizza cutter or use your favorite shaped cookie cutter. 5. FRY in 1 - 2 in. oil (375┬░ F/190┬░ C) a few pieces at a time, approximately 1 minute per side or until golden brown. Remove and drain on absorbent paper. Serve IMMEDIATELY with honey or powdered sugar. 6 Packs of 8 OZ = 48 OZ.
