We now offer Absolut Vodka in the big bottle with 1 liter content! - Who does not know it, the Swedish vodka from Ahus, which can be found in bars and clubs all over the world? After all, Absolut is one of the 10 best-selling spirits in the world and is almost synonymous with vodka!

The inventor of Absolut Vodka, the Swedish distiller Lars Olsson Smith, set up his own distillery in Reimersholme near Ahus in 1879, where he wanted to produce the best possible vodka. He developed an elaborate production process in order to achieve a particularly pure and fine vodka by separating fuselage and other impurities in the best possible way. This process of "fractional distillation" is still used in Ahus today, and Smith's maxim of using only natural ingredients and avoiding all artificial additives is still followed today! With the takeover of the brand by the French spirits primacy Pernod Ricard, Absolut has finally established itself as one of the international market leaders in the vodka segment.

Absolut Vodka, which is made from unblemished wheat and pure water from Sweden, is bottled at 40% alcohol content and exclusively in stocky clear glass bottles with short necks, reminiscent of traditional Swedish pharmacy bottles. As with all Absolut products, the label is replaced by a bottle imprint, which in this case is entirely blue. This is why this premium vodka is also known as "Blue Label".

Due to its clarity and purity it is suitable both as an ice-cold shot for pure enjoyment and as the basis for countless high-quality long drinks and mixed drinks. For example, try a Gipsy Cocktail: mix in a shaker on ice 4 cl Blue Label with 1 cl Bénédictine DOM (which is of course also available in our shop) and a Dash seasoning. Pour the finished drink over a strainer into a tumbler filled with ice cubes and garnish with an orange wedge - ready is a delicious and spicy cocktail, which is also a great digestif!
