Cooks in 30 minutes. Just add shrimp and rice. Sauce and spice to make a perfect biryani rice dish with coconut, cumin, coriander and curry leaf. Easy 2 step. Directions Coconut & curry leaf biryani with shrimp.Step 1.In a non-stick saucepan, fry 9 oz shrimp in 1 tbsp oil for a couple of minutes. Add the spices and mix.Step 2.Stir in the sauce and then sprinkle 5 oz uncooked basmati rice on top and add 5 fl oz water, making sure the rice is covered. Do not stir.Bring to a boil, cover and simmer on a very low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand for 10 minutes.To serve.Stir carefully to mix and serve with a spoonful of plain yogurt on the side (optional) .This biryani is great with shrimp, but it also goes well with chicken.Please ensure food is fully cooked and piping hot throughout before serving.Serves 3.Store in a cool dry place.Once opened, refrigerate and use within 3 days.
