Scott has a rich family history of dairying and shepherding in the Great Basin area of Nevada, east of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. His ancestral roots go back as early as the late 1800s with his family still in the business today. Scott's dream began while visiting a small sheep dairy outside of Parma, Italy on a university trip.
