Set aside. 3 mix. Empty cake mix into large bowl. Stir eggs, 1 cup water and oil into cake mix until moistened (about 50 strokes) . Pour batter into prepared pan. Spoon pecan coconut mixture from Step 2 onto the cake surface randomly. Swirl pecan coconut mixture into the surface of the cake using a knife or spatula. 4 bake. Bake in center of oven at 350 degrees F following chart below. *Add 3-5 minutes bake time for dark or coated pans. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans on wire rack for 15 minutes before removing. Cool completely before frosting. Pan size - 2 8-inch - single layer 9-inch - 13 x 9-inch.
