Gourmet House Wild Rice Minnesota Cultivated100% MINNESOTA CULTIVATED WILD RICECooking on the Stove: 1. In medium saucepan bring liquid, to boil (add margarine and salt, if desired) . 2. Stir in wild rice, reduce heat and cover simmer 55 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve. Cooking Measurement Chart: Rice (1/2 cup), water (1-1/2 cup), yield (2 cups), servings (1 cup cooked/ 2). Rice (1 cup), water (3 cups), yield (4 cups), servings (1 cup cooked/ 4). Rice (2 cups), water (6 cups), yield (8 cups), servings (1 cup cooked/ 8). In the Microwave (It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate): 1. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 1 cup wild rice and 2-1/2 cups hot water (add margarine and salt, if desired). 2.
