If the ad had said it was Topside I would have chosen different because it's not my favourite cut. It was OK, but a bit bland, even tho I rubbed mustard into it. I followed the instructions to the letter, even sitting it on a bed of root veg with water. But is it my cooker. - I have a Rangemaster stove - but the timing for Rare turned out to be Medium with not a hint of pink. Disappointing. And my roast tatties were very soft, despite the goose fat they were done in, then I realised - the water in the roast tin was making my oven cook in steam.
