In a blindfold taste test I think anyone would struggle to identify what they were eating. June 17, 2014 Rated 1 out of 5 by Veggie1 Astonishing lack of flavour I was offered this as a delivery substitute for Quorn mozzarella and pesto escalopes, and took it to try - it seemed an imaginative substitute and I thought Sainsburys must have good confidence in the product - but regretted my decision when I found that the kievs were surprisingly flavourless. They had good texture, which can be hard with the mozzarella part, so positive points there, but they tasted like someone forgot the seasoning.
