Just be careful to not overcook them, I needed much less than the recommended 20 minutes. I found the suggested portion size of 80g to be a bit slim, so I doubled this and it was plenty to accompany a piece of fish for dinner. Will definitely be buying these again. Fry on low heat with a chopped onion, tin of sainsburys chopped tomatoes, vegetable stock cube and a splash of red wine and a sprinkle of herbs. Top with cheese sauce and job done. Lovely, tasty meal and far better than any ready made meals. At this price perfect, any more I think I would stick with fresh veg but handy to have as a quick 'go to' - we even use them mashed up for our little girl to have with her meals. It goes well with pasta, rice, jacket potatoes, chicken, fish, you name it, this is an excellent accompaniment. Also great for a quick & easy vegetarian omelette or quiche. The vegetables have clean, fresh flavours, just add garlic, mixed herbs and season to taste! The mix of vegetables is good, so there always seems to be fair number of aubergine slices, which are the best of all! I dont mind them but didnt want half a pack of them. maybe the packing plant had a blip with that pack, but I wont be buying them again unless they improve the selection.
