Please don't deny it, they used to be somewhat 'rougher' than the ones now, some were even slightly miss-shapen but they truly were of good taste and very fresh. The eggs sold now have all the characteristics of a graded 'factory' egg. I remember the first two dozen I purchased, of the 24, 23 were double-yolkers........... The way an egg is supposed to look, feel, and taste...oh yes, the smell when it's sizzling should not be omitted. It is as large as expected too, so much so you could almost 'go to work' on one. I would recommend that all shoppers should at least try these. There'll be no going back!!! They were not fresh eggs. Disintegrated when poached!
