The sauce was nice, rich as it should be, The strips of beef, five slim small ones in total, were not enough in quantity to balance with the amount of rice for a full meal. Stroganoff is traditionally meant to have finely chopped shallots in the sauce. A lazy supper is the day when my husband wants to treat me to him 'cooking' a meal for me AND doing the washing up.....his thinks this is pretty close to 'peel me a grape'. The stroganoff is delicious although lately the portion of onion seems to be taking over. If it wasn't for the onions I would give it a massive 5. Finish the meal with Sainsbury's Lychees and cream, mmmm.
