Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards) , utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Keep refrigerated. Pan Browning: Place sausage in a skillet. Add water to just cover bottom of pan. Place over Med-High heat. Cover and steam until sausages are plump and 3/4 of liquid has evaporated. Remove lid, pierce sausages with knife or fork, lower heat, and brown slowly in their own juices as remaining liquid evaporates (6-8 minutes), or until pinkness just disappears. Do not over cook. Note: Isernio Sausages are leaner than most brands. If needed, add 1 tsp. oil to pan to facilitate browning. Product Details Premium. All natural sausage. No preservatives.
