Shur Fine Oatmeal Old Fashioned100% WHOLE GRAIN ROLLED OATS.Cooking: Microwave (Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking time is approximate) : 1 Serving: 1 cup water; 1/2 cup oats; dash of salt, optional. Stovetop: 1 Serving: 1 cup water; 1/2 cup oats; dash of salt, optional. 2 Servings: 1-3/4 cups water; 1 cup oats; 1/8 teaspoon of salt, optional. 6 Servings: 5 cups water; 3 cups oats; 1/4 teaspoon of salt, optional. Microwave: Combine water (or milk), oats and salt in a 2 cup microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. Remove from microwave ovens; stir before serving. Stove Top: Bring water (on milk) and salt to a rolling boil. Add oats; reduce to medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover, remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes, Stir before serving. Use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner oatmeal. 100% natural. 100% whole grain cereal. Three grams of soluble fiber from oatmeal daily in a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heat disease. This cereal has one gram per serving.Long Description
