Recent research has shown that a tannin-rich extract derived from the edible fruit of the Terminalia bellerica tree helps keep uric acid levels within healthy range. This patent-pending standardized extract from Terminalia bellerica inhibits xanthine oxidase thus modulating uric acid synthesis.
