igourmet Greek Saganaki Cheese (7.5 ounce) - Pack of 3
Short Description
The concept of grilling Saganaki cheese began several hundreds of years ago by Vlah shepherds at the foot of Mount Olympus in the central region of Greece. Named after a sagani, which is the small, two-handled frying pan in which it is traditionally prepared. For apparent reasons, Saganaki is often referred to as "The Flaming Cheese". Our variety is a traditional yet re-tuned version made from cow's milk that brings this ancient classic up-to-date. As with our popular Halloumi, this amazing cheese never melts - simply grill on both sides for a couple of minutes and you have the simplest, tastiest appetizer that has been enjoyed for centuries.
