Alberti Benevento, no label, presumed bottled in 1960's. The name "Strega" (witch) was chosen to remember a Lombard legend that saw the city of Benevento as the official meeting place of all the witches in the world. The original recipe, still unchanged and secret today, involves the use of about 70 varieties of spices and herbs.
