Short Description
Aging is 6 years.
The color is light amber gold with some slightly coppery reflections.
The nose, in the first attack is very white flowers of fruit trees such as cherry or pear, followed by a light touch of lime. A few fragrances of spices such as white or black pepper follow one another, the finish is blond tobacco with a delicate hint of cocoa.
The palate is very supple and very round.
An exquisite cognac as a long drink with Schweppes for example.
It is in the archives of the end of the 18th century that we find the traces of the Roullet family installed not far from Jarnac and Cognac in a lonely wine estate in the middle of the vineyard called Le Goulet. In 1772 the first vines were planted by this family of winegrower, distiller and cognac merchant.
At the dawn of 3 centuries of existence, the traditions with the 9th generation are perpetuated but the vineyard has grown and it is now composed of 140 ha of Fins Bois, the 4th Cru of the cognac region, 46 ha in Grande Champagne, classified Premier Cru and the rest in Petite Champagne, ie 18 ha classified 2nd Cru.
Maison Roullet grows many qualities of Cognacs, including a few Grande Champagne Premier Cru cognacs.
