Argyle Knudsen Vineyard Julia Lee's Block Blanc De Blancs (2012) Producer's Notes : Planted in 1990, at nearly 850 feet of elevation, Julia Lee's Block provides elegant white summer fruits, citrus blossom, and roast cashew nut refined by layers of creamy concentration. While warmer than the previous two vintages, the early October picking provided ample concentration while still allowing the volcanic tension of the Dundee Hills to shine. Fermenting and aging in our oldest, neutral oak barrels allows for the middle palate to fully flesh out, while still building upon its taut, savory length.
